I realised this morning the other reason why I now believe this protracted future fest concept is a great idea.

In every off season since 2011 we have had day upon day of protracted bad news, bad press, anxiety and uncertainty about our future direction.

The #future fest is the antithesis of that. Bloody good news every bloody day.

I'm not worried, just that for some reason I thought they were announcing ten re-signings, which we have now had. Looking back it was at least ten. And when it mentioned that Billings was close at the start of the thread I thought he'd be announced by now.
I guess we'll just have wait until Monday to hear about his ten year deal

they were announcing one a day until the end of september so at least another 5 to be announced.

It's funny I'm unsure about Murdoch- he's got some good points but doesn't get much of it. I like Saunders though and plenty have written him off so I guess it's subjective.

Steven & Stanley only have next year at this stage so they will get an extension most likely.
Hickey, Ross & Lee could announce extensions too.
