Amazing how short these game threads are now.
Also interesting to hear the commentators discussing why we are where we are at now.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Well, not great, but could have been worse. And Franklin didn't get 10.

Yeah it would be good to see a bit more smart coaching...I'm still waiting, but I'm not holding my breath.Freebird wrote:We kick it into the hole and our forwards get block..the opposition block when going forward and kick it to the free man. It's impossible to weight the ball when going forward for our players because nothing opens up / happens ahead except for roo lead with several players hanging off him.3rd generation saint wrote:How pathetic and I mean pathetic that last lollipop kick into the forward line.
No wonder we can't score. Someone has to completely drill that crap out of them.

ST KILDA coach Alan Richardson has paid tribute to the Sydney Swans for the guard of honour their players gave retiring Saints great Lenny Hayes at the end of Saturday’s thrashing.
Hayes being clapped off by two lines of Swans players as he left the SCG for the last time was one of the few highlights for the last-placed Saints on another dismal day.
MATCH: BUDDY’S PARTY SOURED BY HAMSTRUNG KENNEDY
St Kilda was flogged by 71 points with Lance Franklin’s 9.4 in his 200th game worth more than the 8.8 (56) St Kilda could muster.
Franklin said the guard of honour was initiated by the Swans’ team leaders at the end of the match
“Obviously there is a lot of respect for Lenny. He has been a great footballer for a long period of time,” Franklin said.
