Forget about chips.
If people are resting their hopes on chips they are very deluded.
We arent still playing for the 2010 flag. Although many on here seem to think we are still trying to win 2010.

You keep saying this Con but I havent read one person mention 2010 in regards to the current team apaprt from you. people can still hope Chips gets back so we can see him finish in the ones. That doesnt mean they think he will be the difference or that we are thinking of 2010.

Gwilt is averaging over 16 possessions per game - which is pretty decent for a defender. The problem is his much taller opponents only need to outmark him 3 or 4 times and win 5 or 6 possessions to make him look ordinary.
Gwilt is doing his best under the circumstances, so I'm cutting him some slack (it's not fair to single him out).

Our weak midfield with no run and spread, poor kicking and one dimensional forward line with no second tall marking option is our biggest concern.

We do need another tall defender (195cm plus) - but Bruce may be asked to play forward to hopefully provide the second tall option?
