Newnes and Dunell used to look like twigs but both - yes, even Dunell - seem stronger looking to me. And Curren and White look amazing (think my son and I might hang onto the number 18 guernsey after all).

And yes, it's only November …

On the website, I noticed Pierce on the Senior list. I doubt that is significant given that Dal seems to have been given the number 15 … ?! I guess they'll fix it up in due course (a few other things happening, it seems)

Pierce has always been on the senior list. he was pick 75 last in the draft.

Those puffing now will get their message clearly and very quickly. It will be a balance of kgs of strength and aerobic capacity.


Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency
