Maister is from Claremont and having watched a bit of Ledger there are real issues with his kicking.

Personally, I'd like to see how he goes surrounded by senior players before making that assessment...if he was given another contract last year, might as well see how he goes at a senior level?

I agree. But Tom Curren is not and it defies belief that for 2 weeks in a row we have been hammered in clearances and all we do is to drop a rookie defender and bring back an ageing mid who can't kick.

I can understand Maister in as a second Tall. I can understand Saad out for TDL in (as he kicked a few at Sandy recently).

But I simply don't get why Tom Curren is not getting a gig.

Ledger isn't a spud- I'm one who was suggesting he needs to improve his disposal and descision making under pressure but wouldn't say he is a spud. He deserves a go at senior level and I haven't written him off yet. Curren is a rookie so is really going to have to wait until he gets a window. Now ferg looks like he had a bad game it looks like we should have elevated Curren but we didn't we should see him this year though.
