Only 39 on our current list so we can promote one as long as we can can fit him in the SC, If you dont think he will be picked because he is not good enough, not ready, not deserving of a spot, not the next best choice for FB or that Dawson deserves another chance. Why not just say so.

I wouldnt have written that I think he will be promoted and play his first game of senior AFL footy if technichally it wasnt a possibility.

Maybe this year?

I would have thought that Zac was on him very early than moved so Lynch's game had nothing to do with Zac
But Westcoast did not kick many goals so Zac must have been outstanding
I asked how Lynch went not the WCE forward line. By the way when was he moved off him?
You made the statement inferring Lynch only kicked one goal so Zac did his job so you should know.
Watch the replay again
I have and when Zac played apart from 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter to me it looked like he played on Lynch.

Can I ask you one question, why would he be dropped this week after one goal was kicked on him when he wasnt after 7 were last week?

Zac is badly out of form but I think RL made it clear that he wants to try and keep structure in our backline and ZAC is our FB. There isnt a replacement in the seconds and moving someone else in the ones changes structure.
I watched the 2nd half again with blake and Gwilt appearing to be Lynch's oponent...
I know we have 0 standing up in reserve but zac is going that bad we have to develop anyone..
Good to have seasoned bodies but zac when exposed is not the answer and when not exposed the drovers dog will do

Lynch had 93% game time, 13 possessions, 2 inside 50s, 2 goal assists, kicked 1 and missed 3.

Zac had 60% game time, 1 possession, 1 tackle and 1 spoil.

How did he beat Lynch during the 40% of time he spent on the pine?

60% game time by a full back tells me he's going to be playing North Ballarat next Sunday.
No way Zac will get dropped for that performance. He may not have been great but neither was Lynch. If he was going to be dropped it would have happened after 7 goals was kicked on him. Surely.
Please explain how Zac beat Lynch when he was not on the ground for 40% of the game. I've stated the stats and the fact that Ross didn't want him on the ground says to me he's had enough. Zac will be at Sandy on Sunday.

Think you are probably right, not as sure as you but probably right. A lot of time will be devoted to selection of our backline IMO, can we play without a big defender, do we have a suitable replacement, does Zac get another chance?

Yes it was conspicuously low game-time for a defender.

Zac played poorly.

Again his trademark this year is that he watches his player too much at the exclusion of watching where the ball is going.

About three times in the first quarter he was in positions to influence goals scored by WC and each time he did not position well.

To me he is playing without confidence.

Last year it was the offensive side of his game that saw him find favour. This has evaporated this year.

His position at FB seems to be more reliant on a lack of other FB options, rather than his on form.

This is a tenuous postion. He either needs to find form or.......
