You couldn't put Rhys as a rotating ruck/forward, he would get monstered by Sandilands.
Is he up to carrying a FF position, I haven't seen him play in Sandy to know if this is a possibility?
I personally think the likely CHF will be Fisher or Goddard, CHF is just such a crucial role.
He would not play ruck (apart from occasional contests in the forward line). So Sandilands is not an issue as Sandilands will not be playing as a defender.
No, nobody was suggesting it. I just read the article that highlighted he dominated the ruck and around half forward, and said I wouldn't play him there myself.
It's okay everyone, I am well aware I am not part of the selection panel, was just an opinion
This is as good a time as any to give Stanley a run. Most of the physically stuff will be done by Gardi and King and he wont be expected to cover for Roo, no one can.
Sandringham belted Frankston by 49 points and young forward Rhys Stanley put his hand up for a senior recall at St Kilda in the absence of Nick Riewoldt.
Stanley was dominant in the ruck and around half-forward with other Saints Jack Steven, Raphael Clarke and Rob Eddy putting together a dominant performance in the midfield during the 15.12 (102) to 7.11 (53) win. Marc Westcott and Russell Gabriel were the best for the Dolphins."
Amazing the same was in this morning's Age word for word, by Brett Diamond. Sure you quoted the right paper stinger? Or is Brett Diamond a generic VFL reporter?

I know you said almost..but our midfield is in pretty good nic.
If Stanley comes in it will be to play as a forward. Otherwise there are better options.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
