You don't think that Curly might...might...just have a point?
So do you also believe that umpires are actually cheating? You and Curly believe that they are intentionally changing the outcomes of games for their own purposes?

They do what they think will get them a game when it counts. Upset a big name club and the media is all over it make piss poor calls against a small club nothing.

Look at the Heeney situation right now. Where was the carry on for Max King when he copped a week for far less than Heeney,
I guess the umpires from sunday will be dropped for not being able to sway the game in the swans favour enough to get the win, and the umpires from our Collingwood game are also blacklisted for big games?

Tried there best. I doubt the Swans will be complaining about things not going there way.
Yep, tried their best to screw us...

Like when they paid Higgins a free right in front of goal...

and overturned Dougal's touch...

and didn't pay Wood's trip and instead gave us a free in the last...

and didn't pay Butler's dive into Swans player's back in the last...

and didn't overturn Higgin's game winning goal...

Yep, really took every opportunity to try screw us!

Batlle insufficient attempt free kick if they didn't pay that no one would care. Heeney belts Webster equals Swan goal then free kick to Heeney a minute later goal.

You don’t hear what the boundary umpire says but the field umpire says “So he juggled it out? Throw it in then”

This is demonstrably untrue. The ball was firmly in his grasp as he crossed the line.

Now we can all see the mark should not have been paid but it’s not the boundary umpires job and he certainly shouldn’t be exaggerating the situation.
It is absolutely the boundary umpires job to make the call, same as when the goal umpire decides if it was marked before or after the line

Now the central umpire can start a discussion around what people saw but the boundary umpire gets the first call
I disagree. Both the boundary umpire and goal umpire can make a call on whether the ball was marked before the line.

But on this occasion he is saying that’s not a mark. That call has nothing to do with the boundary line.

And if he’s told the umpire that it was juggled over the line, that is a total misrepresentation of the situation.

In the end, the Swans were their own worst enemy. Their errant kicking for goal cost them

I think the umpires have learnt a valuable lesson

No matter how hard they try and get a team over the line, some teams can't be relied upon.

Better to go back to umpiring fairly and without bias

All your statements are correct except this one.

Wood was fined by the MRO for that trip.

Ah, with all your cryin' and lyin' Curly, you're obviously too busy to grasp the actual point of a post/argument.

2 days after our best win in a long time and you're still crying about the umpires! Its a sad existence yours, totally deranged!

The MRO as usual sets up the criteria for the Swans to get their man off. If they successfully argue it was careless, he'll only get a fine

Beautifully hoodwinking the public that they are interested in giving him a suspension, when we all know they want him to be eligible for the Brownlow

They deemed his act intentional conduct, low impact and high contact

How the hell was it low impact? It's not an open hand push to to the chest or slap to the side of Jimmys face. It drew blood and made Webster drop to his knees

Kepp on changing your argument and goal posts Curly, If the umpires were cheating because they need to ensure they are given the big games in the future, they wouldn't allow the saints to win at all. Stand by your convictions, its not about the swans not complaining, you were saying before that this cheating was all about keeping the big teams always happy. Do you think Collingwood were happy to start 0-3 because of us beating them?

The big one was the Warner HTB

Can cop the others, not that

I was in the third tier other side of the ground and saw it, I’m sure one of the 4 umpires might have seen it!!!

It was obvious

Read what I post as long as they don’t miss something the big teams way and ere on the side of caution when penalising them at all.

If that was Higgins that belted a Swan defender and we goaled and won the umpire would be under incredible scrutiny.

I think the talent pool for umpires is spread far enough with four umpires making decisions and you’re suggesting we have 8 of them making decisions.
You can infer from how the field ump replies (and the decision that is made) that the boundary ump is telling the field ump that the mark wasn't completed.

I have to think that all match day umpires are at least more talented and qualified to make decisions on dropped marks and throws than half the commentators on this forum who think they know better.

You literally hear the field umpire say “So he juggled it out? Throw it in then”

Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but I reckon the boundary umpire said he juggled it out.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say in my first reply to that video, I think 'juggled out' (or bobbled out or whatever the field ump says) is in reference to the ball hitting the ground, not juggled it out as in wasn't in control when he crossed the line which maybe you are thinking?

Either way though the boundary ump is providing additional info to the field ump to make the correct decision
