Depend on which story you heard first and when you heard.
Re-runs are for the kids. They struggle in the now.

We're switching to the Pied Piper, I'm still the lead, Vortex is a rat and wants to know if you wanna sniff some cheese with him.
Like, play time.

Methinks CQS is using an AI bot....he's probably watching the cricket and having a few beers, totally oblivious to what's been written.
"Any candidate for political office, once chosen for leadership, must have the will to take the wheel of a very powerful car, tasked from time to time to make a fast journey down a narrow, precipitous mountain road β and be highly skilled at driving. Otherwise, he is disqualified from the company of competent leaders."

I've got some blue vein that someone might like
Anyhow, if you're so keen on leading, maybe dress up in your Pied Piper outfit and join the cheer squad.
Help them come up with some better chants could you please

Re: Au Revoir Chris Toce
Remember what Thommo said. The club needs shock therapy. As we are not in the premiership winning business.
Well, this off season has certainly been a shake up, on and off field.
I am excited about next season.
Be funny if Robinson is the only HS journo to get it right about us next year, wouldn't it? Like Watson at SEN this year.

The next area of the club that needs some shock treatment is the board, time to get some change there, specifically some more football competency.samuraisaint wrote: βSat 16 Dec 2023 8:19am Remember what Thommo said. The club needs shock therapy. As we are not in the premiership winning business.

Our board is bare bones and is half the size of the rich and powerful, just another indicator and measure of our constant challenge.
It's an arms race.

Hawthorn will steal potential supporters if they are more successful. That's how it works.CQ SAINT wrote: βFri 15 Dec 2023 2:12pmI know, we already have one.NickyDal wrote: βFri 15 Dec 2023 1:59pmI disagree strongly with this. It is one of the many unique things about us as a nation that I parallel in my work with young men and now young women.
Success is about the journey.
Take a lot look around, relax, it's not all about the prize.
After you achieve success, you still have to take another journey.
Wherever there is not already a strong club alliance in their families the top club often steal the young kids. If we let Hawthorn crawl back over the top of us they win more than their fair share of future members a decade down the track, but if they don't we will steal some from them and all of the other clubs. Flags and big name stars always draw future memberships with unattached kids, and probably a bigger percentage of all the others who are new to the game as well.

They will be as half as close compared to where they are at Waverley.

Re: Au Revoir Chris Toce
We were relevant this time last year.
Now we have momentum and potential.
That was a fast year.
Sit back, buckle up, and after a short warning video, Ross is gonna bring the Cairnsman back to Mentone. Or where ever you lost it.

Re: Au Revoir Chris Toce
Manufactured
But agree we have it
Relevant
Not yet
Premiership or premierships will be needed for that
And sustained success and money to burn
A fair way to go yet

It's all chance until you see the final 4 isn't.
