Us being St Kilda and cursed when it comes such things, if he stays he’ll become a crock and a spud.

I think we have to back his potential in to become a really good player. All he needs is to regain confidence after a string of horrible injuries.

Tell Lenny Hayes - make him a mid or break him doing it
Time to hit the gym Hunter and the Rob Harvey running track…
Get Uber fit now
I’d tell him you do that you’re next contract is your biggest..

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Apparently he doesn't play mid because he's too slow on the defensive spread. He's a waste across half back even though he goes well there. I still think we need to get him and Sinclair into the middle.

Looks like we might loose hunter to a trade which would be terrible as he is right age and experience to take the young group through to next level. well I was hoping with long going as well he is in the same age bracket as well.

He's contracted so would need to be strongly in favour of the Saints for him to go. Long might walk.

Very disappointing if true. He’s 23 FFS. His best years are probably 2-3 seasons off.

Have to agree He's a keeper unless we get a monster offer that is too good to turn down or else he stays . Benny well if the rumour mill is accurate 600K I would walk too , probably actually run & get the deal done quicker.

Pendles ain’t lightening
Dal wasn’t too
His attributes are his ability to make time
He might not be lightning but if he hits a target laterally out of the middle that opens up the forward entry for Max King 1 out on the fat side….he’s paying his way
As long as he gets a tank - Pendles and Dal could run all day
Good kids can but this can be built
Totally agree about him and Sincs into the guts rotations
Pies have 6-8 that can roll through there we need that depth and quality
Surely they can rotate in their off HBF?
I’d play Leo too get him going off a HBF as the new Sincs

If Hunter goes, it would hurt. The others, I can deal with. I would trade a dozen before Hunter.

From BF

Clark is gone, will request a trade next week. Had this confirmed by a player agent yesterday.

Im not losing much sleep over it. Selecting he and Coffield as pick 7 and 8 was terrible drafting, but it’s in tune with most of our top end selections over the last 10 years except King who fell in our lap.

Clark has nice skills and puts his head over it but is treacle slow, has no great athleticism and you’d question his longevity given injuries to date.

You're quoting a BF poster, who has quoted a supposed 'player agent'.

It's tragic how the off-season brings out all the nuffies.
And you fell for it

Silence from the club on this issue is deafening.
I reckon Hunter is gone.

If he wasn’t being traded the club would have said something

Cal Twomey reports "other clubs" (unnamed) are interested in Hunter. Is the club supposed to spend time responding to stuff like that.
Like DKing, Twomey makes a living out of stating the obvious as a revelation. But where is the punchline.
Saints have, through years of mismanagement, unfortunately set themselves up as a media punching bag.
Glad current mob are not responding to when did you stop punching your wife type reporting.
Let's just wait and see if there is any fire behind the smoke being blown.

Required player for our future, but has not had his potential unlocked as yet.

Needs to play as a true midfielder.

However, ALL players can be traded for the right price. I would not let him go for less than Pick 12.
