Re: Hanneberry done
I wasn’t sold on Ratten during the caretaker mode. The way he let Sydney do a walkover for their farewell game for some of their greats in 2019, and not displaying any passion in that loss to me raised alarm bells. The 2020 season felt like a case of individual brilliant performances, eg from Paddy. This is after everyone wanted anyone but Richo for years. Such terrible management.st.byron wrote: ↑Mon 08 Aug 2022 9:39pmI already reached this stage when they re-appointed Ratten.D.B.Cooper wrote: ↑Mon 08 Aug 2022 9:26pm
I would never stop supporting the Saints, but if they re-sign Hannebery I think I will seriously consider keeping my cash in my pocket next season in protest. F#ck them if they double down on this recruiting disaster.

Indeed. Ratten looks like Richo Mk. II to me.axcellence wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 5:36pmI wasn’t sold on Ratten during the caretaker mode. I tend agree- I think if Richo was still coach, the outcome so far would be similarbangaulegend wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 9:02pmTo be fair he doesn't have the cattle but yeah he is no better than Richo IMOst.byron wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 7:09pmIndeed. We must be saving him for finals, like they did with Selwood last week.

Come on Fiery short break was going to be rested anyway no point risking our big game player until the finals campaign startsThe Fireman wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 9:39pmAnkleD.B.Cooper wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 9:13pm This week V Lions:

Let's see what Simon says.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Richo got us that famous win in a Maddies' Match where we really trounced the enemy.spert wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 9:08pmI tend agree- I think if Richo was still coach, the outcome so far would be similarbangaulegend wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 9:02pmTo be fair he doesn't have the cattle but yeah he is no better than Richo IMOst.byron wrote: ↑Thu 11 Aug 2022 7:09pmIndeed. Big win in Tassie over Hawks.
A win over Giants which made us think it would be our year.
A big comeback over Doggies in 2016 or 2017.
So yeah, Ratts is Richo Mk2

Re: Hanneberry done
Since Hanners doesn't have a specific injury and is just being managed to get through his arduous season, I suggest that his farewell game will be against the Swans next week, where he can wave goodbye to all of the fans (Swans fans that is).
Then he can go down the race with his team mates (Swans) and snort as much coke as he likes!

Re: Hanneberry done
My guess is he'll end up playing against the Swans, pick up 25 touches in a losing team and get himself another year. Before spending 90% of next year on the sidelines. Like every season.

I don't know why this is any surprise.
