Another game where slow ball movement meant 90% delivery was on his head. Gets crunched or arm chopped which must be back to being ok. At the moment plays for Carlton or Lions kicks 10. Maybe 7.6.

He mostly gets the best defender doesn't he?
As a first year player that hasn't even cracked double digit games, he is doing pretty well with 8 goals.
He just needs more strength to start holding those marks when his long arms get chopped.

He's a baby giraffe FFS! Have a look at his Brother at GCS. He take so many marks in his hands. Why? Because he's got the cream of the draft crop lacing him on his leads. None of this Gresham / Ross floater rubbish on his head business. If we had half of GCS' midfield talent - Max would be unstoppable.
If only we could only find an extra centre square midfielder who could kick to his advantage. Personally - out of all our mids - Hanneberry is the one who makes us way better in that respect - great decisions, excellent skill execution - just hope his body can old together.

Max seems to contribute much more in the early part of games and disappears after half time.
Some of this can be attributed to our dominance in first halves and being on the back pedal after half time but he still seems to go missing.
It cost me money last night when I backed him at $3.50 to score at least one goal in each half.
