Clue he was only 27 years old at the time
By the way I am pretty sure he is on This Is Your Life this Thursday 8:30 Channel 9

1961 for Yabby.
He coached till 1976.
By a long long way he is our longest serving coach.

Tony Lockett played 17 games in the 1991 Season.
How many goals did he kick?, what was his goals per game average?, how many times did he kick 10 or more in a game in that season?
And just a bonus question, if he had of played in all 23 of the Saints games that year and maintained his average, how many goals would he have kicked?

Tony Lockett kicked 127 goals in 17 matches
at an average of 7.47 goals a match
He kicked 10 or more goals 6 times in 1991
with the club record of 13:3 against Carlton in round 21 at Waverley
If he had played all 23 games he could have kicked 171.81 goals for the season (going on average)

Excellent stuff St. Fid.
He would have blown the record off the map that year. No surer thing in the world.
Your turn.

great question HD, and he may have broken the record...
but, they are getting harder to ask.....
Who was the only St Kilda player to make his VFL or AFL debut in a finals match?
Players name, type of final and the year………

Give Yipper credit for this one.
He said Travis Payse in the same game I mentioned before.
I just had the name wrong.

Tony Lockett lead St.Kilda's goalkicking in every year from 1984 to 1994 with the exception of one.
What was that year and who led the goal kicking?
For an extra little question. How many did he kick?

Off the top of my head it was Nicky Winmar in maybe 1989? If not it would have been Stewie.. I'll have to look that up...

I'll stay out of this for a while and give other people a chance...
If it helps anyone, I'm fairly sure Morwood is one......

1985 Paul Morwood (Swans)
1983 Max Crow (Essendong)
1954 Les Foote (Kanga, I think)
