Secondly our salary cap has been unused for years and we have had gaps and paid contract forward so we have the money so lets spend it. plus we got rid of Steven and Bruce, two of our biggest salaries I'd imagine.

Its all academic now anyway, the money is spent so lets get behind the new guys

Apologies guys, just a typo. More importantly I am looking forward to about July of next year. We should hopefully be firing by then and we will know who were good pick ups and who weren't.

King will have a few games in him by then, maybe bytel and who knows maybe we are in the hunt for finals at that stage

Not the first time a punter on here has confused Jones' name.

Reminds me of when we recruited, Smith, Jones and Brown all in the one draft.

A nice change from all of the Jacks we've recruited.

Mind you one of those Jacks has jacked off.

Apologies if anyone is offended.

We really are a beneficiary of the salary cap system this time. We've partly paid for it with sh#tty fixturing and terrible stadium deals over the years - that's how I justify it, but if we can't make something happen now..geez., I guess we'll still be good old St Kilda.

Saynta,

when referring to those guys (Smith, Jones and Brown) back in the day, I used to call them collectively

The Accountants.
