Guys like Newnes, Weller etc. etc. are clearly doing what Richo is asking of them - yet it's not resulting in wins, not resulting in good individual performances from these guys, and not resulting in good individual performances from their teammates.
Richo picks guys who barely touch the ball, and when they do, they slaughter it. But he keeps picking them.
His reasoning for not picking Freeman last year, related to him 'not letting go' or some such nonsense.
I'm completely baffled as to what his selection criteria is, and even more baffled as to why he's persisting with it after 5 years of mediocrity and proof he has it wrong.
A big part of me thinks that he picks the senior guys to keep them onside.
