The relationships among our Coaching structure are not commented on

Where are the connections between Richardson, Ratten and Lade?

Where does Richardson live and where is Ratten renovating?

So they both come from the Eastern suburbs to Moorabbin and their work place?

50% is better than the man we are currently paying $650k per annum.
Let’s put Richo aside for the moment. Look at what Scott has built at North in 10 years. Sweet bugger all. The 50% is flattering.
Brett Ratten has a 51.29% coaching record - 59 wins 56 losses & 1 draw
And in ten years 2 finals and no top 4 finish, not to mention poor List Management.
Uh, more like 4 finals series and 2 prelims, plus 9th three times...

Fair enough. Still no genuine Top 4, nowhere near it and poor List Management.

He may be a great Coach in poor circumstances beyond his control, but there is no evidence of that. The evidence points to mediocre performance.

Whichever is right, he presents an unacceptable risk.

If Richo is to be replaced, that decision will be the most critical decision the Club makes in a long time.

When you are beholding to the AFL this is the price you have to pay.
The AFL lost the election last weekend so the indigenous round is even more important to their lefty political correctness stance.

Brad Scott will be the Stkilda coach.

when?
after china game

Why this has happened? Lethlan.

Is it good?
yep. its bloody good. Why people dont want a coach who took a mediocre list to prelims twice and is the twin brother of the best coach in the league right now is beyond me. Hes tough, talks without stuttering.

Yep. bring it on. Assistant coaches are on board and even Richo has conceded.

Saints havent come out yet as CHINA is an issue. Dont know why but it is. Expect an announcement after we get slammed by port in china .

His players were really hurting after the game, so he obviously won them over.

Let’s not forget the lists North had during those prelims were pretty terrible.

If you believe what you hear, Ratten doesn’t want to be a senior coach again. If he stays on and we sign Scott... not a terrible result.

He's gone up in my estimation

Not sure how I’d feel if Brad was our coach... but at least you know he sticks up for his players and doesn’t mince words.

If this bloke gets rid of the "We are truly sorry for upsetting Mr Murphy" attitude
then let's welcome him on board !

With due respect this is garbage.Chris Scott the best coach in the league ?
Not anywhere near close.
Any one of a dozen current coaches could coach the "football factory" team.
Richo would be flying there right now.
The support, recruiting, local scouts+money there is light years away from us.

I'll be under whelmed if we get Brad as coach.
Unimpressive resume with an albeit under funded club. Can see a repeat performance with another under funded club.
Another ten years would just about check me out.
I was impressed with his comments on David King.
At least he can call a spade a spade publicly instead of skirting the issue.

Brad Scott - got 2 great years off Dal Santo which the North got without trading anyone. This helped North make prelims.

Once Dal was done, so were the Roos. Haven’t done much since.

He did whinge a lot even about umpiring, so that’s a step up.

I get those whining Kray brothers mixed up.
Was Brad the prick that shoved Lenny into the fence breaking his arm, or did he do a tough man act on an injured Riewoldt?

I’ve met Brad once briefly. Seems a decent bloke - straight shooter for sure.

I like his direct approach and ability to express himself well.

He’s only 43 and has 10 years coaching experience already.

Welcome to the Saints, and farewell Richo!

Lost all respect for the Scott brothers and Mal Michael when they were hitting /bumping Riewoldt in the shoulder knowing quite well he was injured and waiting the rummer to come out..
As for his brother Chris being the best coach blind freddie could coach a side with the list of players he got and currently has.,Best coach at the moment is Buckly with their list of injuries and still find a way to win.
I personally think he will end up at Carton after we play them.

It's been interesting. Brad's stocks would have fallen sharply had he been sacked or not had his contract renewed however to exit in the manner he has cast's an interesting new landscape for coach AND club.
