What is the end game here? There has to be an end game.

We trade Roberton and get what in return?

I am not saying it can't or won't happen.

We traded out Ben McEvoy and nobody here saw that coming.

In return we received Shane Savage and pick 17 which later became pick 18 and we picked up Luke Dunstan.

So we did alright and so did Hawthorn.

This would have to be part of a much bigger plan ?????? involving more than just two clubs?????? Hawthorn wouldn't give up anything good to get Roberton so it would have to be rolled into a multi club deal with players going every which way?????
