Re: Jarryn
Tom Skully has silky skills and great work...but I can only remember Geary's game tonight...why is that so? Love Skully and I know his family, but does he really bleed? I mean really bleed for the team?stonecold wrote:Just proves, don't have to look pretty to be effective!!!!!
Carnt understand all the keyboard cowboys knocking our skipper, whom, might add was appointed by our players!!!!! Good enough for them, good enough for me!!!!!
Brings me to why I sort of knew we would win, GWS is a fantasy team, made up of fantasy players of which who really believes? I mean, I have (and most here would be the same) loved our team (for better or worse) for most of my life, but if they win the flag, who, other than paid commentators and people that the Awful give access to, say they give away 5000 shirts to people that aren't on their way to Richmond station after the game, what's it worth? Really? They might have a cup to put on the shelf, but who would really care?
My team, made up of any player that Ricoh so wishes to be on the ground will have more than a hundred years of blood backing them up. More spirit than any GWS fantasy side could ever imagine will walk along side my team whenever they take the field, and so it will be for a long time to come. We have seen the hard times, they can only wonder

Absolutely spot on. He is our captain for crying out loud.
Did no one see his awe inspiring tackle on Patton? He gives 100 percent to our footy club, 100 percent of the time.
I know some people on this forum really like to be provocative. Nothing wrong with that.
Criticism where criticism is due. But slagging off our skipper is so off the mark IMO.
Geary is a warrior. That is why he is Captain.
So the whole team got it completely wrong by appointing him? Yeah right.

Just out of the blue, at 28 he's improved his kicking?
Must've just started working hard on that?
