Leading well - like Stanley his team mates wont kick it to him. They would rather wait for Roo to lead with 3 defenders hanging off him! This will create some ruccus but our forward option & delivery will never improve with Roo there!

Yeah, we wait to see who loses the grand final then offer them Roo for their first and second round picks plus an upgrade of all our other picks.
Their third for our fourth etc.
They know they want Roo.
They know he would have made the difference for them.

Sounds like we were pretty good that quarter but Spencer didn't get near it? A lot of work for the lad to avoid getting subbed off. I reckon he's got about twenty minutes of the third quarter before he's done for the day.

Thinks he is two preseasons away but reckons he can play next season just needs to be managed.

Now on to Longer, saying he is improving, and competing well.

Spencer was always seen as a project player that would take longer than most. He's missed both pre seasons with injury and is a late year birthday. I suspect we will see glimpses of him over the next two years and he'll be a regular player by 2017. No shame in that like I said he's a project player and will take time as Stanley has. More footy nous than Stanley too.

It seems like he was given a push into the chamber. He took the push and has now played at the top level.

Good on him. Great way to build confidence.

Firstly hes only 19.
Secondly he had a broken scaphoid (wrist) that required two lots of surgery. This seriously affected both of his pre seasons.

Im real bullish. Real bullish. He can play. Hes got the tools and hes big and agile.
No rush at all either. When hes 22-23 he will be a terror. Looks much more a player than Rhys.

We need midfielders to kick the ball into our forward line. Our 1st selection should be a mid, our 2nd a mid our 3rd a mid...

We do have Stanley, Lee, Bruce, Spencer and even Sippos....they could all be good if we had a dominant midfield kicking it to them....
