I think the positive to take from the story is that Nick told the club...

He clearly has no interest in moving...

Who wouldn't become disenchanted after talk of trading this football clubs most skillful player ever, Nick Dal Santo?

f****** disgraceful that was even considered by this club.

If i was a collingwood fan i'd be worried if they recuited roo !
They've just lost two quality players and want to recuit a 30 yr old with dodgy knees .

The way he was having his knee drained every month this year , I wouldn't be surprised if next year was his last .

Not the most skillful, bit one the better ones for sure. Skill ain't everything, and we need to win a premiership sooner than later, so any trade that helps that is good.

Most skilful player ever? I'd argue that Stewart, Baldock & Smith have him well & truly covered !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Very difficult to compare eras. It was quite a different game in the '60s, e.g. a throw-in if you kicked it out on the full (hence the famous cry of 'Hit the boundary line!' late in the '66 Grand Final!).
Agree that the players mentioned above were very skilled but I never saw them play 'live' and I doubt ralphsmith would have either.

I would have nothing against Roo if he left the club in search of Premiership glory.
But a move to Collingwood doesn't make sense, except for the money involved.

Here is something you will not read from any jounalist or hear on any radio station:

Collingwood is on the way down....they will struggle to make the 8 next year.
They certainly won't be in a Grand Final anytime soon!
