Interesting on AFL 360 tonight where they showed the headline from the Adelaide Advertiser "The Sins of a Saint".
Should Milne be acquitted of all charges, he may be in line for some extra money there.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

I would pretty much guess Milney will not sue anyone if he is found not guilty because that doesnt mean innocent. I have no idea one way or another but I could bet he will keep a very low prfile regarding the case if he gets off.

I wouldn't be certain of anything. With the exception that the police have botched it. If milney gets off I wonder what the girl will be thinking of the system?
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Just saw the advertiser from today on the table in the smoko room at work.
It says that new evidence has come to light since 2004.
Wtf???
Since when?????
That's not what most have heard in here and in footy land I thought.
And if its tfe how the hell would the advertiser know when no one else that I can recall has said the same thing.
Its like caros article today saying the complete opposite of what the aflpa actually said.
God knows.......

The radio said it was evidence that due to inexperience wasn't admitted. Someone in the police force did a Melbourne by the sound of it. It isn't that it was corrupt so much as not experienced. I'm not sure what evidence would make a huge difference to the case or else the reported events are wrong.

It's sad that Milne is out, maybe forever.
It's even sadder that Saad may play.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:

St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

There ought to be charges laid against the cops. What a colossal balls up that this wasn't all dealt with at the time.stinger wrote:the judiciary will just love the free shot that they can aim at the coppers and the odpp.

Club standing him down is hardly showing support for him.
Reeks of guilty until proven innocent.
Not a good way to treat a great clubman and our 4th highest goalkicker (only 30 behind Buckets in 3rd spot) and 6th highest games played (one behind joining Lenny in 5th spot).
Those figures DEMAND a lot more respect than the StKilda Board has given him.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

A paid holiday is the only we can look at this.
Give him a paid holiday until the committal hearing.
Then make a decision on the rest of the season depending what happens there.

The committal hearing will most definitely be after the season and probably after delistings Con.
