So he did enough to get an order, then broke it already before, and now again?
Not sure I'm buying that this isn't serious.

On a serious note, it's quite sad, but I hope folks don't mix up an AVO, which is very different to an Intervention Order which I believe this latest one is.

Re: St Kilda player in the news
I hope the text messages and facebook messages were threatening or obscene, because if not, how precious has our society become that someone can be arrested and remanded in custody for sending a frigging text message!!
Dear god. I know Dr S has been the victim opf stalking as mentioned, and possibly some other posters here, but I hardly think sending some texts to an ex that you didin't want to be an ex, is up there with loitering ourtside the bedroom window at night, or going through her mail or some s***.
Fair dinkum, about 10 years from now there'll be court cases because someone didn't like the way someone else looked at them.......

If you know you can go to jail by sending any message then you simply dont do it. Doesnt matter what the message says. i have a friend who has an order out on someone and even a basic hello message upsets her. She thinks he could be watching her or just around the corner. Maybe if you knew someone with an order out on another party you would change your mind. I certainly did.

Why is his manager talking to the media?
So he has been suspended by the club already last month? If true, not looking good for him....

Sadly this is pretty damning..and not speculation,,police evidence brought up in Court. Its not a first offence http://www.triplem.com.au/melbourne/spo ... -hio8.html
Needs to be suspended until the court hearing IMO and the Club appoint a counsellor for him. He clearly needs one and the Club would look good doing it.

Jesus, can you imagine the Herald Sun tomorrow, front page in massive bold text "St Kilda Text Scandal", and below it in hardly legible text " New York hit hard by Hurricane"

Re: St Kilda player in the news
Sounds like a love sick puppy dummy...........................apparently one of the breaches sending flowers
Obiously cannot handle being given the lemonade
One good thing appears no threats of violence....
One of the breaches of the intervention order in the current matter related to Gram sending flowers, police allege.
Gram will next appear in court in November.
Gram was charged in September with two counts of breaching an intervention order and bailed on his own undertaking, the Moorabbin Magistrates Court heard on Tuesday.
He continued to contact the woman after he was bailed.
Police have opposed bail saying they fear Gram will continue to contact the woman.
There is no allegation of Gram being violent to the woman or any expectation that he would be violent, the court heard.
The hearing is continuing.
