walked into a far better core at the saints.
drove them into the ground and took two years to get them up.
pav will become the next roo.
the list will get filled up with plodder part players while their youngsters stew in the wafl.
his gameplan is outdated and beatable by many.
he has done well for himself, but will be sacked before his time is up, and freo will forever regret this decision. their new coach is a mercenary with no time for loyalty. the gordon gecko of the afl. great role model - how will he gain their trust?

exactly.
Those first 2 years under ross were the headless chook years.
All those pie charts and meetings take a loooong time to sink into footballers brains.
Freo to miss the 8 again next year.
I bought a shirt from Target once.
It had a hard tag on it too.
I know how Dal feels.

Re: Hands up if you think Ross will land a flag at Freo
I actually think he'll win the flag with them this year. They played VERY well today to beat Geelong on their own dungheap. Putting aside my personal animosity toward Ross Lyon, which in all honesty is dissipating (particularly with his obvious show of affection toward our 3 retiring champions last Saturday) he is a DAMN GOOD COACH and will win Freo the flag this year! Hard to swallow, but true nonetheless.
St Kilda forever ( God help me)

Grand final? Yup. He won't win against the Hawks this year in the grand final though, IMO.

We would have pumped the Cats today. See what we did to Freo last week.

Gee I was actually cheering Freo home today. Mainly due to giving the finger to the afl and their manipulation of the game.
