You mean: 'Dean Wallis, former coach of nude scandal-plagued St Kilda, the club whose pre-seaosn was rocked by the sensational pregnancy allegations of schoolgirl Kim Duthie.'

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

"Wallis, 42, returned to Windy Hill this year as a development coach after terms at Fremantle and St Kilda." ---- I knew they had to get the Saints in there, somewhere.....

Evidently he picked up his gambling habit while he was with the Saints.

I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

Yeah, but we gave Hirdy a good character reference for him - told him that all his problems were in the past :wink:

Let's apply the Heath Shaw matrix to this scandal. having dusted off the abacus my figure shows he should, I repeat, should get 80 weeks.

Considering they made an example of Shaw and so they should have that it won't be tolerated.

How does a new breach of this code get dealt with???

And the fine? Shaw copped $20K, which means Wallis would/should cop $80K.

Will it be or won't it be.

Well, he was two thirds right!

Detracts a bit of credibility from his claim about Lenny.

What I find interesting is the location of the pub-tab where Wallis laid the bet. The Lakeview Hotel is in White Hills, which is about 8Km North of the Bendigo CBD. The QEO, where Bendigo Bombers play their home games is right in the middle of the CBD (about 200metres from the fountain). With the assumption that Wallis lives in Melbourne somewhere my question is;

Why go to that pub-tab to put his bet on? My guess is that he thought there was NO chance of him getting caught !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

if he gets off with the "it was for a mate" excuse then that excuse will be used for every future offence by anyone, and difficult to disprove. no chance.
