If GRAM is to remain in the team RL should try him up forward and make him apply forward pressure. He is lazy and choses when to give effort and when not.

This week I would drop Gram and Geary and bring in Baker & Walsh. Baker to shut down one of Carltons small forwards and Walsh to expose Carlton lack of tall defenders. We also know Walsh can go back if required.
I'm not convinced he'd be much use down back though...they have Waite and Walker as tall forwards, with Kruezer lobbing down too. Unless Carlton suddenly reinstates o'Hopeless, he'd be a giant down back amongst their mosquito fleet. We've used Baker as a shut down on their small forwards before, without much success...not sure what the answer is TBH.

So you want 3 changes to a winning side. Seriously we need to give the players who have gotten us 8 wins out of our last 11 even more confidence. Gram has been doing well on small forwards where as Baker has been struggling. Geary is OK and will have a role this week as well. You dont always need to change a winning side especially when the alternatives arent any better.

I agree. Why would you change the side? There will be the one forced change this week, so I would really like to see Walsh come in. Not sure whether that is common sense or a burning desire to see him make the team for the first time.......

Gram has had a couple of lousy games, but he certainly hasn't been on his own this year. Last few weeks I though he has been more than reasonable and has certainly worthy of holding his spot. I suppose that if some on here are bagging Gram, then they are leaving Raph alone.....LOL

We should start a thread about sacking Gram, Raph, Kosi, Zac, Gamble, Polo, Peake, Schnieder, Geary, Dempster, Jones, Blake, Mini, Milne, Ray, Eddy, Cahill, Heyne, Montagna.

We keep Rooey (as long as he plays like last week), Dal, Fisher and Tommy Walsh and just field the guys we like.

Who is the forced change?

We need to change things up because we haven't beaten a team above us on the ladder all season. We need to beat Carlton to ensure a home final as I dont think we will change the results against Sydney up there.

Armo is the forced change. Why do we have to change things up. We lost to the Blues on the last kick when we were out of form. You want to bring in an out of form Bakes and an untried Walsh after winning by 70 points. Cant we at least back these guys to do the job again especially as they arent being replaced by players that will probably make no difference at all. We Beat WCE when they had won a few in a row and they are certainly above us.
