To say this game has been a disgrace would be an understatement

2 misses by Ebert now that could have put Port in front, not a great night for kicking for either side

Port should be 5 in front, if it wasn't for Schneider we'd hardly have registered a score.

Dal Santo, Hayes, Goddard and Kosi amongst our worst 6-7 on the ground, need to lift.

Absolute worst ive seen us play for a long while. Cant hit a target, cant hold onto the ball, cant take a mark. Port are getting an armchair ride but still we really need to pull our finger out if we want to win this one

Will need a fair amount of "reprogrammimg" at half time to lift the SAints intensity, being dragged down to Ports standard

Worst football we have played in the last few years, exemplified by the final minute of that quarter where not one handball or kick came close to hitting the target.

Also, the high-tackle rule applies only to one side apparently. Hell, doesn't even have to be high if it's in front of their goals....

Well well well.

Not a good half. Probably our worst for the year.

Skills. Terrible. Missing by hand and foot. Efficiency would be very low.

Defense is non existence. Whats happened to our zone? Port running freely.

Last of all, our key feature - PRESSURE. Where is it? Rodan sidestepping every player with ease. Not a feature of Saints footy.

Kosis going to get himself rubbed out again very soon. Throwing his body around very dangerously.

Overall, give them hell Lyon. This is not the 2009 Saints. This is the usual AAMI Stadium Saints. Must must must lift.

Lucky for Dean Bogan that the taking the ball out of the air in a ruck contest and then being tackled rule (whilst still holding the ball) does not apply to him !!

How bad is it?

Gee, I think you guys are being hard on our team. It's a difficult game: the umpys aren't calling a lot of in the backs (for either side: but the Port players are laying a lot more of them than us), the ground is slippery, etc.

The free kick which Rodan converted was a bad joke: a classic case of umps playing what they thought they saw rather than what they did see.

If I were Lyon, I'd double team Rodan: take him out of Port, and we'd be 6 goals up, I reckon.

Yep, he got away with it not once, but twice!

But I reckon the umpiring has been even-handedly appalling tonight.

I don't think we can't afford both Raff and Zac in our back half at the same time ! And I'm not looking for whipping boys but jeez they are not on the same page as the rest for mine!
There's a few others down on their game also , but those two blokes are still big liabilities I recon
Maybe mismatch with Zac on the garden gnome Ebert but still he's pretty ordinary!
And that shocking decision ...too high tackle when it was around the arms that got them back into it was a disgrace

A few of the big names will have to lift yo get us up
I know there's another half to go and should/could wear them down but we are definitely off our Wheaties tonight and missing the Roo magic badly tonight!

Fair call mb, but very frustrating to watch nonetheless.

Pretty lousy skills, but the Roden free kick was a joke - a typical umpy manipulating the game - Port hasn't kicked a goal up to them. Let's give them a free kick to get them into the game and make it more interesting.
I'm sick of this!!

This game is terrible. I have stopped taping it. Win or lose there is no way I will watch the replay.
