Jarryd Allen was in our starting 18 when we played the Pies in the '08 final. They obviously thought he could play.
He may have already signed a contract before he was injured.

from memory this was correct, in fact the club was investigating processes to mae sure allen got his money but it did not effect the salary cap.
Once again, it works because the draft is so thin this year. I can't help but look at the quality of he 2008 rookies compared to what we have got in 2009.
