5 for the Big Show. Incredible in the ruck, and FOUR massive goals including the winning one and some FANTASTIC marks, narrowly in front of....

4 - Gilbert. Welcome to the big time.

3 - Hayes, ok in the first half, better in the third quarter, EXPLOSIVE in the last

2 - Riewoldt - Anyone questioning why this bloke is our captain needs to watch this guy closer IMO. Leads by example - his mark was spectaular and his goal - moist, very moist (can I say that on this forum?)

1 - Blake - hard to give it, could've gone to any of five or six gys but Blake was sensational.

I cant edit the top summary - but there is an update at the bottom of the sticky thread!

If my vote counts for anything (I haven't voted up to now and don't know if I am eligible), I would have it as

5 - Hayes
4 - Gardi
3 - Riewoldt (we get so used to his high level of performance that people don't notice what a constant threat he was yesterday: I can assure you that the Geelong players and coaching staff certainly did!!)
2- Gilbert
1 - McQualter (nobody else has given him a vote, and for mine - he was at least as good as Sam Fisher, Joey and CJ, even though he didn't keep the effort up for 4 quarters)

Gilbo- great game, tackles, speed poise.
Roo - heroic.

The hardest voting I have had this year. I loved the way all the boys played.
