No-one going to actually discuss the game? Just commentate?

Sounds like we have picked up a bit in the last 5 minutes, Harvey has made an impact since coming on.

Clint Jones has been very involved too from the sounds of it.

Would love to see how our forward set-up is working at the ground.

King is fanastic for us.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Steven King having a bit of influence by his physical prescence.

Montagna goes for a super goal.... GOAL!! But they've paid it only 6!

It's almost impossible for me to commentate given the problems I've had getting access to the game over the net. Doing my best here just to type as they say it.

8.5.53 to 4.4.28 at half-time

Goals: Milne 2, Gehrig, Eddy, X. Clarke, Allen, Koschitzke, Montagna

Kosi missed one just before half-time, should have nailed it. Needs to improve his accuracy.

Happy with how kids like Geary and Eddy have gone so far, would like to see more from Armitage. Even Howard has done some good things.
Jones appears to have improved his kicking during the off season (well to me anyway), and GOd I'm glad the Gtrain is BACK!! Love him!!

What I am doing is just typing what I hear over the net because I've had so many problems - not just tonight but often - so I thought someone out there might lik to be reading a fairly detailed description of the game. So I am just trying to help someone out there who might be in a similar position to what Iv'e been in the past - and in the first 20 mins of the game tonight.

Can I have some feedback - is anyone actually reading the commentary I've been typing out... or should I just give it a miss? I mean, I dont mind either way.

Go for it if you want, it's a wonderful thing to do, but I think nearly everyone should be able to get radio/TV coverage of the game over the internet.

St Kilda 1.7.5.56 to Richmond 4.4.28

Montagna's goal was a supergoal and the score has been adjusted.

Just like someone else said, the "AFL live" site is so slow, and for many people on the net, the radio sites were completely down for 15 mins, so I thought a commentary might be useful.

But, as you say, it does take a bit of effort (and fast typing). So if no one really needs it, I don't mind stopping.

St Kilda have kicked 6 goals running through the corridor (3AW).

Everyone happy with RL's gameplan? :)

Miles, Eddy, Geary and Shivers have all been praised on SEN. GT said they are "Accountable, good skills under pressure, chase hard and tackle hard". KB says running harder than Tiges especially when someone is under pressure.

(By the way... just a moment of bitching on my behalf... I wanted to be able to watch this via the international subscription on the AFL site, but the links were bad, so 2007 stuff came up, and I wasn't able to get it. I emailed the Big Pond site, and they took ages to get back to me, and then they just said something bland about finding the link on the AFL website... geez, annoying!)

Sri Lanka 4 for - unbelievable one handed catch by Symonds - diving to his left in the covers - out stretched a couple of inches off the ground
