Gresham's kick out of bounds was 100% deliberate, there wasn't a St Kilda player anywhere near it, but it gained us important territory and time to reset. He knew what he was doing....

What makes you think that Gresh ever looks to kick it to a team mate?

With the kick out of bounds he was just trying to clear the football from the backline and he just kicked it as far as he could.

In the second and third quarter, Gresham kept stuffing up his kicks by missing a target inside 50. He holds on to the football too long and then he either makes the wrong decision or reverts to 'the long bomb'.

I remember an incident where he was clear and had time and totally wasted his kick inside 50. His team mates gets confused and frustrated

Another time he had 2 blokes clear and he hesitated then kicked it in the middle of them. They ended up spoiling each other.
