Re: Match Thread Saints vs Hawks
Their leaders are outplaying ours - by a mile. They will tire, but the question is whether our next rung of players brought in today will be able to match the fresh legs of the younger players they have brought in.
The team we are playing is NOT the Box Hill Hawks as has been suggested - it is a side with FOUR mutliple premiership players, plus Scully and Wingard.
Our five year + players need to step up in the second quarter, put their head over the ball, and lower their eyes when they go forward.

Seriously .... he was the only free player in the forward 50
If kicked to a contest some of you would have been screaming for his head for ignoring Marsh
Damned if you do .... damned if you don't

Yep under no pressure half the 50 to kick to - lobbing it deeper into the pocket or stabbing it to be almost straight in front - watch the replay.

Abbott at the centre bounce, maybe better off with Costello
Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

Re: Match Thread Saints vs Hawks
Clearance/Ruck work of Hawthorn has been elite ... so much for our 3 ruck selection thus far ... and I thought 2 was one too many.

Re: Match Thread Saints vs Hawks
1/4 time
Saints 4.3.27 v Hawks 5.1.31
Ratten is no better than Cho. Why bring in Abbot and Marsh but don't replace Carlisle. We are too short in the backline.

Re: Match Thread Saints vs Hawks
The Saints don't look anywhere near a top 8 side, another list churn needed at seasons end.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
