He's a dead certainty for round 1 then.BarryGrogan wrote: ↑Thu 14 Nov 2019 8:33pmSerious question...
I've heard about these apparent big wraps - but where do they come from?
He hasn't played a game since he's been at the club has he? I didn't think he'd even trained properly? Certainly not enough to take part in praccy matches or serious simulation?
So are the big wraps attitude based? Cause I can't see how there could be an opinion formed about his actual ability.

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
I think it's Ted trying to play a new game to throw people off the scent that it's actually Ted. Look at the date secret kiel joined the forum just after Ted / Johnny Ray Flamingo got the boot. Same stupid comments on every post. Only my opinion but seem's to much of a coincidence to mesaynta wrote: ↑Wed 13 Nov 2019 10:47amTroll or kid?CURLY wrote: ↑Wed 13 Nov 2019 8:16amPlease go post on a forum that is about your club. I thought I saw Jack Bytel down the street today. Must have been him, because he was driving a mobility scooter!

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
On the video of him going 1 on 1 with Marshall in a tackling /wrestling exercise there doesn't appear to be an abundance of cotton wool stuffed inside his jumper so I am assuming he is not wrapped in it - I'm taking that as a good sign

Kid is now the Messiah or he is a cripple. Maybe he can heal himself.
There is no real hype coming from the club about this kid or even king to be fair. All you hear is some fluff pieces from players pumping up the tyres of their team mates. As they should of course.
I am hoping to hear nothing about any of our players until next year with exception of hanneberry returning to train.no news of good news this time of year

expect the club will really want to promote how training with the new coach and recruits has lifted the standard of training, that first vid of Ratts and the 1-4 year players is exhibit A.DJ Higgins wrote: ↑Fri 15 Nov 2019 8:28am Kid is now the Messiah or he is a cripple. Maybe he can heal himself.

You have no right to call anyone a Troll CURLY unless you have proof. May I suggest you put him on your Foe list if you don't like him. If he is a Troll I'm sure Simon will take care of him.CURLY wrote: ↑Wed 13 Nov 2019 8:16amPlease go post on a forum that is about your club. Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
I’m not sure what the expression is - but I hope it’s got nothing to do with a poster being a troll or a fake ITK or serial b#llsh1t artist or poster you have specific issue with or something like that - because if that’s the case this thread is going down the path that most of them seem to and that’s pretty sad

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
Been thinking about the discussion in this thread a bit more and wondered why there isn't more hope shown for Ed Phillips. By all accounts he is ahead of Bytel to squeeze into our midfield before Bytel. His physical attributes and strength in the contest has held him back but hopefully he can be more confident in that department in his fourth season. Time is running out for him if he can't get into the side in 2020.

- Ed is more an elite running outside like Justin Peckett link up player and Hill, Clark, Billings, Jones, Sinclair ahead of him
- Bytel is more a courageous inside like Andrew Thompson who can play outside too with Hannebery, Steele ahead and Dunstan / Ross needing to lift as Bytel could offer what they are good st but rolled into one player
