...milton was a really nasty piece of work....started sending me threatening pm's....in the end i responded by telling him to flower off with a few choice expletives....why not...anyway he did threaten me..made out he was italian and had mafia connections and that i was putting my wife and kids at risk,...gave me a phone number which i gave to the police....could have been the number of the daily planet for all i know.....anyway the creep got banned....he still has some mates on here , which kinda says something to me.....anyway one of them keeps bringing up his twisted version of events anytime i post something he doesn't agree with...i usually try to ignore him and his mates as they are not worth getting banned for....you can have your laugh..but to me it's pathetic, not funny... each to their own i suppose...

correct...nor in any other common law jurisdiction....well, that's what every one thought....couple of recent cases are interesting though.....there was a murder trial in canberra...jury convicted the guy.....court of appeal acquitted him...dpp appealed to the high court...high court ordered a new trial...guy was retried by judge alone...who acquitted him....one of the reasons i suspect that the act is now legislating to abolish trials by judge alone.....the jury got it right the first time...imho....

second case involves an american guy convicted of manslaughter in this country,...american state is going to retry him for murder....but you are right re lovett....

Yep. Can tell you a good story as well at the footy last Saturday. Paid the $16 up front to park at the footy. Got back to the car and had lost the ticket. Cost me another $50. $66 all up to watch us beat Adelaide. One of my great nights at a game of footy.
