However I felt Battle could have been tried on May when he was dominating if only in a defensive role.

King was monstered all night with pathetic delivery into forward 50
Lost that out of the coaching box
No forward structure
For a side that thinks it’s a finals contender you just saw what we are
We’ve caught some sides bu surprise this year but they’ve woken up

Very hard to blame a 19 year old being double teamed.

He does get his hands to marks and then drops them....so often!

It was dropped marks by king and missed set shots within 30m of goal by Members.

The small forwards did a good job and had lots of meters gain from the wing and I50s but becuse there were so many dropped marks the small forwards were stuffed trying to clean up the mess.

King is a liability and was dragged by the coach 3 quarters too late. Dropping basic marks at the elite level cost us. There were a couple that were within 30m of goal and would have won us the game.

We've needed Billings for the past 2 games which have been crucial to the clubs development and he's gone missing. Right now he is well overpaid at 800k.

800k players are players who stand up in finals and Billings isn't looking like he will ever be that player.

It's not KING's fault.

It's the coaches for not moving him away from FF to drag May out or put Marshall/Battle on May to make a contest.

As frustrating as it is (I just want to kill something) I think it shows how far we have to go to be a serious threat. So many passengers Steele & Marshall very good but too many just didn't pull their weight . The game was there to win we just didn't have the balls to get it done.
