Haha! That's awesome. Why isn't 'degruch' being quoted though...as one of the foremost social commentators of the cyber-age, I would have thought my comments would have brought some credibility to this sensationalised editorial.matrix wrote:Late in the morning, the rumours were enough for TAB Sportsbet to suspend betting on this Saturday night's St Kilda v Adelaide match at Etihad Stadium.

Mate I'm just saying they are young. They have some stuff to work out. I just take offence at this whole OMG a girl got preggas thing. s*** at least they have a good wage to set things up with. Hell of a lot harder bringing up kids as a Uni student. But heck it was still a good time bringing up my kids from a young age...just a different lot of fun to what others were doing.samoht wrote:If everyhting is okay and the girl and the father to be are happy ... then I don't understand why this has come out into the public forum ?SENsaintsational wrote:Well said. Trouble always seems to involve 2 AFL players .. - you'd think 1 of the two would have some sense, sometimes - but birds of a feather (more than) flock together it seems.
afl is a team game..always stick up for your mate
That's what I'm harsh about - their irresponsibilty.
Infact, as someone who became a Dad at a young age, I am outraged at all the eleitist agist commentary on this thread putting down young parents!!!
Once out we can comment all we like after all it could be one of our AFL footballers here .. and we all have different opinions.
It could well be that this turns out okay .. and the child grows up happy - let's hope so.
But if it's come out because the girl is complaining then I'll do the baby sitting as I'm sympathetic to her cause and her responsibilty and the responsibilty of all 3 - how's that ?
I say good luck to them. I hope either together or apart that they work their way through the issues and make the right decisions for themselves.
Its not the first or the last time that "Safe sex" gets forgotten in the heat of the moment. Infact its nice to know that there is still a bit of passion out there in the world.

Be nice if posters exercised a bit of self control, since the moderators aren't able to catch everything.

Firstly it is derogatory toward women. Secondly, it is based on her looks, I presume.
Thirdly, it reeks of a lack of class.
Describe her as a pathetic journalist, if you must, but leave the insults out of it.

Mistakes do happen.
I was only sitting in judgement if this story is as a result of a complaint - if everyone is happy and they feel they've taken on the responsibilty since the mistake - so be it, who are we to judge ?
but by the same token - is it equally okay to sit in judgement of someone having a different opinion and to label them as ageist ?
