There is a thread at the top of the page.
if your that unhappy with your seat that you can't see the positive in being able to be there to support your team on what could possibly be one of the biggest days in it's history then give someone who can see that positive a chance!!!!
People will travel from overseas just to be in melbourne on the day, they will gladly take it i'm sure.
Here's a tip, take a little fold up chair and sit on it! there you've got your seat

I have been registered with both for years and ended up with row A on the Forward Pocket....

Just wondering :?:
No diff, I am registered with both and buy tickets all the time to all sorts of events. I got std seats.

I wondered if the time you registered mattered, I know a few of us who registered early, all got std or standing... did those who got premium register first thing at 8am, or later in the day?
It appears that I am one of a few that registered via the telephone as opposed to the internet, silly me thought that I would be talking to someone on the end of the line.

It was automated and I had to say each question and then spell each question including my address and email account (if even spelt @ (at), maybe there were very few that selected this process and we were in a few that got lucky, just a thought, but interesting non the less
any thoughts on this with respect to seating arrangements :?:

Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

This is actually a good idea, a lot of people actually prefer to watch it from standing especially if they are drinking (easy and quick access to the bar) and some might have mates who got standing room and would prefer to stand with them? Highly stressful game, some people would rather stand so they can move around, jump, walk off and avoid watching for awhile.

Based on all the replies I have read in this thread combined with what I know of my and my mates allocations and what was said by the various authorities prior, I would conclude that the process has been as promised...purely random.

Some Foundation Members have great seats...some poor..and some standing room.

Some such as you who have joined the Social Club late have quite reasonable seats.

That you have been TM and TT member for years and rang up by phone to register has nothing to do with you getting Row A near the goals.

So in conclusion...no TT do not have a system of priority tickets fir long-standing TT Member who rang up rather than lodging via the internet...and your allocation is purely due to luck and no other factor.

PS Personally Row A on the fence at the G I would never rate as great seat as the ground is quite significantly domed and so ones view is restricted. Wing a bit higher up would be better. But hey they are better than most...and way better than the majority who have nil.

My experience in Melb is that forecasts are rarely accurate much more than 4 days out.

So have a look Tues/Weds....prior to that ignore.
