So we hit top in Round 21 and retained it by beating Port in Round 22 over there - denying them a maiden Finals berth.

Geelong was on top a good portion of the year, after Collingwood set the early pace.

1987 Plugger got 117 Saints got 318 - Pluggers % - 36.8
1991 Plugger got 127 Saints got 385 - Pluggers % - 33.0
1992 Plugger got 132 Saints got 374 - Pluggers % - 35.3

As a comparison, in 2004, the G-Train got 103 of the Saints total of 409 goals or 25.2%
