Well, we drew a line in the sand, and BJ stepped over it.
It's done, it's finished, let's just concentrate on who we can get, after all that is all that matters this time of year.
Mind you there is a long sad history of players changing clubs in search of premiership, a certain coach of a very hated team is the prime example.
Plus, again, as I said, not only is BJ at that price for that long an expensive risk, the expense will be compounded by who will have to make way for him to fit in Essendon's salary cap.

Gerard is wrong. We offered $1.9 mil for 3 years. They offered 'well over' $3 mil for 4 years (according to the Australian).

He left for money and/or security - nothing else - and personally I have no problem with that. Gerard is being mischievious by suggesting otherwise.

have heard / read from a just a couyple now that essendon may have targeted BJ last year

and Bomber theorised that it may be that clubs- them?- would target years in advance now for those coming out of contract..
