we CANNOT kick a goal from a set shot and it is now showing a problem that we have been covering this year.

A loss is a loss but a loss to this extent is worrying.

Other sides will take a look at this and soon see that we can be beaten with pace, clearances, playing your own tempo football not our tempo and that if we have three or four good players down no-one will step up, that is what has happened tonite.

THe question is do we have the pace to match their leg speed to go man on man.
RL has tipped the forward line upside down as our only "dangerous" forward is Milne who is working very hard. So far Raph and Zac have been rotated down there. Kosi is not even close to the player we are wishing he would be, so we can draw a line through his name.
Hayes is getting his hands on it but his effectiveness seems down, and he has been caught a couple of times. He is not getting any help from NDS, and no one can stop Judd.
It is going to be very tough from here.
Said this before. Makeshift forward lines dont perform.
Midfielders need to have 50/50 on clearances to be competitive. Were never going to be competitive when we take our inside players out of the team.

Kosi is not good but opportunities seem few. Need another option to give him some chance of getting free to mark.

Shockers by several stars. Ross is finding out a bit about these players. May need a rest again to recall the message. Fisher hasnt been right since Collingwood.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

What do you want him to do ???

He has a game plan but tonight the team could not deliver due to skill errors and apathy (L Hayes your excused).

There is a common thread here, teams that play fast attacking football combined with genuine foot speed can really trouble us.

The bombers are looking at this and licking their lips.

We have been found out. Especially without a target up forward to convert out inside 50s or at least provide a contest.
When your team is 50 plus points down and the margin is increasing the coach can do something.

Midfielders need help to minimise damage. Go small forward and big across half forward. ANYTHING TO CHANGE THE STANDARD APPROACH.
Call this panic if you like but you can learn something about change if you try it. You already know the game plan is suscpetible to certain game styles and the team is just not executing so change must be the option on game day not just next week.

I do hope this thrashing is a very very loud wake up call.

A 12 game winning streak. I loved all 12 of those games. But alas, all good things must come to an end.

C'est la vie...

I put him as my captain too, after roo went down. I figure I'll keep him because this'll fire him up to get 35 against the bombers.
