No, it was first and second.
Judy obviously read my comment that Longy tries too often to knock the ball on when he could take possession.

I have been a Saints fan before most on here were born. My father took me to the junction oval before I could walk. That was over more than.7 decades ago
I did get your meaning and basically could't give a rats what the anti richo gang thinks, as Blighty would say. I guess that is who you are referencing.
At least we know our pets ARE trying to kill and eat us - unlike Humans - who say they are your friends!

Re: The Battle mark
He and Carslisle took great marks in the last quarter. Defence stood up well while forwards took a few OOBOTF shots before getting the range. Actually the whole side did very well in that quarter - we have a lot to look forward to.

Yeah, but not too many on here who even try to pretend that they are friends.Sainter_Dad wrote: ↑Tue 13 Aug 2019 7:20pmGotta laugh - or you cry!saynta wrote: ↑Tue 13 Aug 2019 5:50pm

Re: The Battle mark
We’ve not been a fashionable team for the last 2 seasons which is why Battle is ignored , and arguably our best player in jack steven is only worth a second round pick according to so called experts.
The kudos will come when we are a legitimate top 8 team - just look at Brisbane.

Battle sprinted from the contest where the ball was kicked to win that mark. Unbelievable actually.

Re: The Battle mark
We really like him. He's tough, hard at it, got a bit of mongrel and there's no shortage of talent in Battle. Could still be a really good forward and that's where he played his junior footy at Haileybury. He and Clark show the most of the new brigade and could be anything in the next couple of years.
Some timely hope because a number of the 2012 to 2015 picks have not worked out. Need more from Billings, Gresham & Sinclair as they have been in the system long enough now and our younger players look up to these guys.

Battle is a good footballer
Issue is, whilst he has a massive engine, he is on train tracks and he is poor below his knees for a 6’3”

Re: The Battle mark
Battle reminds me of Jeremy McGovern. He’s not athletically gifted however he has the footy smarts & great hands. I hope he stays a backman.

Re: The Battle mark
yes a backman, and yes he should have received a nomination by now. hopefully the powers that be have noticed he has somehow been overlooked. if he played for a big club he'd have been recognised some time ago.
