I agree...although a jar of sauerkraut would be more effective around the ground than Billy, GC would never take the deal.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
I heard it from a reliable ITK a few weeks ago. Mav wants to go to the GC, obviously his brother is there and I believe his family live on the Gold Coast.Con Gorozidis wrote: ↑Tue 24 Jul 2018 9:57amLol.
So 'shocking' he was playing in the VFL?
My god the Suns must be a desperate basket case.
I call BS.
Sounds like a rumour dropped by Mavs Manager desperate to get him another contract.
Its going to happen, the only question is what we get.

If he wants to leave and its in everyone's best interests than a straight swap for Aaron Hall or Jack Martin would be fair enough. If not, a pick between 30-50.

Yep. You will notice a lot of their posts appear at the same time and Dragit really likes Con G for some reason. Wonder why?...lol. I find it funny.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
Apologies for bringing us back on topic...
AFL website reporting Hall is open to a move to Vic - a straight swap there with Mav, so then who's the steak knives we throw in to grab their second first rounder, or a second rounder this year?

Package our Queenslanders up (Mav, Gilbert & Armo) and throw in Lonie as steak knives for Hall and Martin

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
Would rather a draft pick than a player.
If Mav wants to go, let it happen.
He has generally been a good player for us but has struggled over the past two seasons.

The Suns need all the spectators they can get.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
GC surely wont give up anything of value in picks or players for Mav.
Mavs parents & his brother are on the GC so it makes sense if there is interest from him.
We would get a late 3rd or 4th rounder at best, but who knows, they gave up #2 for his brother
They might give up something for Mav.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
Aaron Hall averaged 26+ possessions over 2016 - 2017 seasons. Mav has played 2 career games in 120 with that many touches. Hall also has more goals from less games despite not playing forward like Mav.parkeysainter wrote: ↑Tue 24 Jul 2018 3:57pm http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-07-24/i ... unning-out#/

Martin is a star and is first round trade material if we was to be traded - mostly likely to WA, not a bottom 4 victorian club.
Hall would be daylight robbery, Martin is pure fantasy.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
Joffa whispered to me that he was at a dodgy GWS business lunch last week and their managers said both players don't want to come to Victoria. So we are no chance. He was only 2 seats down from their managers this time, not 3.stonecold wrote: ↑Tue 24 Jul 2018 4:54pmHaving your normal bet each way there Joffa, I see!!!!!Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Tue 24 Jul 2018 4:49pm GC surely wont give up anything of value in picks or players for Mav.
