No sign of him sprinting though? Anyone can walk around and look fine with a hamstring strain. Might be a minor one.

Jaxons is a reliable reporter. No reason to doubt jaxons.
No s*** Sherlock. Just reporting what was on Bigfooty.

Looks like he's finished before he's started

No news anywhere on line. Smells fishy to me. Broken Fibula anyone?

Also what constitutes broken down? Did someone see him get injured and require treatment or was he limping? We have all rolled an ankle and limped for a bit but were fine a little while later.

Why did this Jaxons just randomly post a small one liner about Freeman after months of inactivity?

Doesn't seem fishy at all... just because there is no online article.

Sad if true. Let’s hope it’s only a minor twang. Whilst I can’t see him getting offered a new contract next year, it would be nice to see him make an AFL debut.

Is there still such a thing as the Long Term Injury list and Can you still promote rookies if a player goes on the LTI list?

Would imagine the earliest the scans would be available would be today. Then after assessment the docs will know severity / length of recovery and other prognosis.

After they report to the football department, the coaches and spin doctors would decide whether it is worthy of an actual media release - after all if it is a standard 3 week injury then they may decide to just project this as some injury management / recovery.

Hoping for his sake whatever the injury might be ...that it is minor and won’t be an ongoing issue.

On Thursday (if nothing has been announced) then I am sure questions will be asked and reported here.

Fake news? Fake news?? Fake news??? This is not fake news!!!!! Nathan Freeman is well and truly hamstrung! Believe me.

And nobody know this like I know this! Nathan Freeman is a very great friend of mine, believe me. Just the other day, upon returning from visiting Davros, I took Nathan on to play around down in that little place that I own. (I think it's called Florida? Stupid name btw, believe me! I'm thinking of renaming it to 'Not Mexico'.) So, ok I admit it folks. I played around. You see folks, Nathan has this esoteric, and frankly folks, superfluous, thing he calls 'morals'. 'Morals'!?! WT<editedoutbythePC-Nazis*>hole!!! Can you believe that??? Where's Billy Bush when you need him!?! (Or my very great friend and second most favourite entrepreneur, Park Avenue Sainter!?!)

Believe me folks................ Nathan Freeman is hamstrung................. by these 'morals' things!!! #makinghamstrungmoralsgrateagain

* Like my great friend Park Avenue Sainter, I hate PCness. But it's ok this times folks, because I don't mind Nazis, believe me. #makingfascistsgreatagain

Bloody hell, did he break down or not? The suspense is killing me. I had really high hopes for him this year but if what Jaxons said is true then maybe he really needs to call it quits and move on to a new life.

Didn't talk to Nathan because I didn't get to him before he disappeared but did have good to chat to others in the midfield group and all indications are he has a very minor injury and already over it and back into training. Apparently had one before Christmas too. So either the players are all hiding something or Nathan just left the track with a niggle / concern that caused this speculation as they all seemed to say.

Someone else on BF has confirmed he is ok as well and will be held back for the JLT series

Jaxons can you clarify further what you heard in terms of him "breaking down"?

What type of injury?
