Saints site has a comp going (signed Saints jumper) to guess the 6 new recruits numbers - winner to be announced on 18 Dec - so no later than that day

Edit: Or maybe 15 Dec, this Friday - at the Eukanuba launch. Open training, autographs etc

Just thought with some jumper numbers Clark has worn in TAC/Rep games - if given the option - might choose 12

pretty sure this statement isn't correct-- not sure on memory of #35
- but fairly certain #3 played the very next week before the end of the season Burkey retired
and #7 was handed on before the end of the year

It isn’t the first time that the Saints have taken this path, having rested the No. 35 worn by dual Brownlow medallist Robert Harvey for two years after he retired, the No. 3 worn by Nathan Burke and the No. 7 of Lenny Hayes.

At last!

Glad Hunter Clark got 11 and Logan Austin 24.
33 seems a bit harsh on Coffield -- he should have been closer to Clarke. I could really see Clavarino running around in Eel's No 33.
That's a result of retiring the No 12, which is fair enough. Nice gesture.
Now several players will be competing for the future honour of wearing the 12 -- Paddy McCartin among them.
