Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 18 2017
No pressure Swans walking through with the ball
Lucky to still be in the game
Kickingto 2 on 1s
This continues it'll be 10 goals plus
Just can not play shut down footy when needed

Sinclair dominating - unfortunately not our Sinclair. That just about says it all. We will be lucky to kick 7 goals.

The sooner Lonie isn't in the side the better.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

But, but but ... Hickey's not in the side. I thought he was the reason we were so poor last week...?
Noticed he was amongst the best in our reserves win at Geelong today.

We look so small - and I thought we looked that way last week - but when I checked against Essendon we were just as old and just as big!
I think it is something to do with ENDEAVOUR ... run at the player - don't just wave your arms around at them .... Roo is really struggling this last couple of weeks. Yet he remains our focus - and still gravitates to goal - it is a big worry!

This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

not near enough pressure. even tackling mids like steele and dunstan - both racking up possessions, but neither has laid a tackle. lonie of all people only player to have laid two. donenothing else though.

Beautiful goal from Bruce.
But we have not turned up to play. It looks slippery so maybe we just can't keep our feet, but we are playing pretty soft. No intensity or pressure. Same woes of having more or less no avenues to goal.
Need to lift the intensity.

Billings should watch Heaney on how to attack the footy.

I don't care what anyone says... Savage is an absolutely liability as a defender... HE CANNOT PLAY HBF. He can't.
He is either a HBF/mid or nothing

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 18 2017
Face facts our ball movement under any pressure is abysmal
We do not have decent ball users and they are making us look second rate
FFS get draft picks stop wasting people's time and pick THE BEST FOOTBALLER

Our game plan and style is truly awful.
And how the hell is Callum Sinclair left one on one in the goal square on Montagna?
The coach has to go.
