Yep. From saints.commambo2706 wrote:6 changes. WOW!!! Some good ins though.
ST KILDA has made a total of six changes to its team ahead of Sunday’s round 19 match against Fremantle.
As reported yesterday, Nick Riewoldt, Jack Lonie and Sam Gilbert will all return to the senior team.
They will be joined by Blake Acres, Seb Ross and Nathan Wright, with Cameron Shenton named as an emergency alongside Adam Schneider and Tim Membrey
The team changes mean St Kilda will enter Sunday’s encounter fielding 10 players who have played 42 games or less.'

We must have had 11 last week then? Apart from Schneider the other 5 players out have played 42 games or less.saynta wrote:The team changes mean St Kilda will enter Sunday’s encounter fielding 10 players who have played 42 games or less.'
Re: Squad v Dockers
Be good to see something from at least one of Ross, Wright, Acres. Disappointing year for all of them.

Acres needs some continuity at the top level, hopefully his body holds up and he can take that next step a become the very good player that I think he is.

Funny how the bookies have really tightened up the odds for this game. They must have learnt their lesson from the last two years.

Hickey won't be first or the last to lose the hitouts to Sandi but he may just expose him around the ground with his mobility.Toy Saint wrote:Hope they're not setting Hickey up to fail.....Sandilands is a brute....is Longer really sore? sure?

Re: Squad v Dockers
I just get the feeling that maybe we've put the cue in the rack for the season.
It is good to see these guys get a chance to show if they have a future, but I think our run home is rated the toughest in the competition and can't see us winning again this season.
Hope I'm wrong, would love to knock Geelong off. But 6 wins is better than expected by me.
Depending on West Coasts situation in the last round, may determine if we win again as well. They might do what Fremantle did two years ago and rest half their team.
Good luck to Acres, Ross and Wright, hope they do well.

I remember against GWS at the start of last year Hickey ran forward and exposed Mumford. That's probably what we need to do again.

Agree. It can't happen every year. And we are playing a man short still by playing Wright.dragit wrote:Surely Fremantle won't lose this game again?Con Gorozidis wrote:Funny how the bookies have really tightened up the odds for this game. They must have learnt their lesson from the last two years.

Have you seen our record against Port? Sometimes sides just follow the script. I think Freo will probably strangle us, but as long as the loss is competitive and by under 50 points I will be okay with it.dragit wrote:Surely Fremantle won't lose this game again?Con Gorozidis wrote:Funny how the bookies have really tightened up the odds for this game. Re: Squad v Dockers
I just hope that Acres makes the most of this and puts in a really good game. Expectations are high, but his performance has a long way to go. Also looking forward to Wright putting some zing into things.
Re: Squad v Dockers
Really excited to see the class of '14 playing together - McCartin, Goddard, McKenzie, Lonie, Sinclair.
I think Acres, Wright and Ross need game time so hoping McKenzie is the sub.

A loss by 35 is too much against freo, especially here.samuraisaint wrote:Have you seen our record against Port? Sometimes sides just follow the script.
