No you don't understand, Steven needs to be delisted, ASAP, today would be preferable. Him and that bust McCartin, and that skillless Billings.

Goddard should be delisted also. Cant even get a game in the worst team in the League. And the less said about McKenzie the better.

What we need to do is draft 18 y.o.s out of the TAC who have had at least three or four AFL preseasons and have played at least 50 AFL games.

Amazing thread. Firstly Jack isn't in control of what he receives. If he gets paid big money its because either the club think he is worth it or we just need to get to 95% and he is now our best player so he gets the most. Most would be overpaid at our club anyway but lets just look at the four games this year to see how he is going.

This why BJ and Dal should still be there and now (because they aren't) we should get a free agent.
Ideally bring someone in with some leadership as well as skill.
We have to pay someone.

I would say Lenny Hays is a much better player than Steven, doesn't have speed.
But gee Hays is clean, classy, strong and make things happen.

Yep if he is only like Swan he is struggling. And yep he isn't Hayes but Hayes was just voted our 6th best player ever by our historian.

Steven is also playing as one of our 2 main drivers, he gets the pressure of being minded every week. I just look at how Joey is struggling with having lost Lenny and Dal out of the midfield. It puts pressure back on him where he used to be able to get free and cause havoc once. Jack would have time and space if we had a couple more high grade mids along side him. Skills improve with more space and time.

Stevens is a very good footballer in an ordinary side. The team will evolve and Stevens will take full avantage of it. Half way through next season we will see big improvement in the whole team.
