He looked ok, walked to dressing rooms. Hopefully just a sprain and right to debut next week.

I'd like to see him string a few together first.Rocket wrote:He looked ok, walked to dressing rooms. Hopefully just a sprain and right to debut next week.

Re: VFL Rd 12 Sandringham Vs Bendigo
Thought White was okay but has a fair way to go in terms of his work rate. Bruce and Lee were better on the day in that respect. Siposs was good in the Stewey Dew spot down back. Bendigo are the smallest VFL side and all our AFL listed talls looked good at some point, particularly in the ruck where there was v little opposition. The weather meant there were many basic errors and we really only played with any purpose and fluidity in the last quarter.

[Woule="saint6709"]Good to see Roberton seems to be going better - can anyone please tell me where did Pierce and Holmes play ??[/quote]
Pierce din't play
Holmes ruck and forward -everyone was willing him to kick a goal but missed
Sipposs left ground halfway though last with his arm held in his jumper
White was able to put weight on foot/leg by the time he hit the boundary
Hickey was sporting a decent wrap on his thigh in the last quarter
scrappy game against less slick opposition, concern Would be on the inability to convert the numerous points to goals

On the wing - I think we need to get one of Wright or Webster in the middle.maverick wrote:Where's Webster?chook23 wrote:Will be down the ladder for a long time thenCon Gorozidis wrote:Future backline:

Have 6 young gun defenders fall from the heavens?
5/6 of those guys havent played 30 games.
Lets get them to 50 games and then you can judge.

You need 2 or 3 really good kicks down there, at least one. You have none in this list Con.Con Gorozidis wrote:Future backline:

Easy solution- leave Webster down there then. Chuck Wright (or Geary) on a wing.8856brother wrote:You need 2 or 3 really good kicks down there, at least one. You have none in this list Con.Con Gorozidis wrote:Future backline:

Shenton can kick quite well.
But Geary's kicking is very disappointing I agree. He is really a medium term warrior for us .
Murdoch can kick it too but we might need another new player down there long term.

Re: VFL Rd 12 Sandringham Vs Bendigo
I had Webster and Savage as wingmen - but I have no issue keeping Webster down back for his kicking. Team balance thing. Shenton is also a decent kick imo.PADDLEPOP1001 wrote:Webster and Savage ?

Zebra back in the 8
Sandringham returns to the top eight after a 65-point win over Bendigo at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
After an emotion charged week for the Gold, the Zebras were prepared for a tough encounter, but got the advantage early to take the emotion from the game. Spencer White kick two first term goals, and the Zebras produced goals from up the ground with Farren Ray and Myke Cook both scoring to help the home side to a 19-point quarter time lead.
The second term was more even as inaccuracy plagued both teams with nine behinds scored for the quarter. Bendigo were only able to cut Sandringham’s lead by one point to 18 at half time.
The scoring options opened up for Sandringham in the third, with White kicking his third, Cook his second and Trent Denis Lane scoring two as the home side kicked the first four goals of the term for a 47-point lead at three quarter time.
The Gold was unable to stop the scoring power for the Zebras, as Lee added two more in the final term to take his tally to four, providing Sandringham a 10 goal win.
Lee and Denis Lane led all scorers with four and three goals respectively, and both were among the best with Dylan Roberton, Tom Hickey and Dylan Weickhardt.
Alik Magin kicked two for Bendigo, and was in the best with Jesse Wallin, Jesse Collins and Devin McFarlane.
