Just to add to the confusion, this page would indicate that there would be general admission tickets available...

That info is dated after 2:30pm on Thursday, so it's fairly up to date given the public holiday yesterday. I'd say that it's probably on the money. Besides I'm not handing my hard earned over to that pack of cheating bastards.

Reserved seats (way up the back) were still available for $25 a little while ago when I bought mine.
"Home and Away" members can apparently scan in and find an unreserved seat.
This doesn't fully make sense to me, because there's no indication where these unreserved seats might be -- given that there are none for anyone else.
(Made even less sense to me before I discovered what a "home and away" membership technically meant.)
H+W members "who would like to upgrade" may do so for an extra charge.

We'll be going, but will just turn up and buy general admission for the $25 - not paying those Ticketmaster robbing b@stards an extra $7 each just for the privilege of using my own ink to print my own ticket... + on the remote chance of us not getting in, we'll just go to the Royal Melbourne and drink real beer while we watch it on TV instead!

I have a 16 game membership and tried to scan it to gain entry. It didn't allow me entry and was told I would have to pay $8.50 to get a reserved seat on level 3.

Yep. Have to fork out extra, even with a 16 game ticket. SCAM!

You could have turned around and said no thanks.

So now that you are in, what do reckon the crowd is?
