At the risk of being called a troll I suspect our next flag will come:

I've noticed that as well.stkfc1 wrote:Im picking up an underlying tone when players talk about his 'honesty' and 'transparency'. Slight dig at the former coach?
It may not be meant as a deliberate dig at Watters, but could be more an expression of relief at how things have changed (?)

Im hearing bad things. Just doesn't have what it takes. Players hate him, and Ross Lyon is being demanded back. Im all for it and fully support Ross Lyon coming back. Nick Riewoldt is going to retire in a few weeks unless Lyon comes back before xmas.

Re: Richardson seems like the right man
I think any move back to becoming manic defensively is correct - attitude and effort are required in that game style and that's regardless of who you are or ability. A great lesson to teach a young list.
Lyon was a great coach who could command respect across different player generations - not all can do that... lets pray Richo is another.

Really impressed with the way he speaks and his attitudes so far
His boulder experience seems to be going well.
Hopefully a long time coach in the making.
He seems a class act so far

Re: Richardson seems like the right man
This line of thinknig does amuse me somewhat. I just don't know how someone can draw such conclusions about about another's character in circumstances such as this.SaintPav wrote:Why? Now far be it from me to be leader of the RL cheersquad.
I don't rate him nearly as highly a coach as many others do, personally feeling that his W/L ratio is slanted by the fact that he has taking the helm of two clubs that have needed little rebuilding.
Personally I feel that he is a coach that can only take you so far and once he's set up systems/philosophies etc which are very good, his lack of flexibility actually becomes a liability.
I wasn't particularly disappointed that he left, and like many I did question his loyalty.
WHat I do know about him though is that he committed everything he could to getting us a flag, he was very protective and fought for his team and that the players still love him.
Regardless of everything that happened, that in itself speaks volumes.
I hope he fails at Freo
