Gilbert is dreadful. Granted, he's played some decent games when the team was flying but that was ages ago. Now he's a total liability, turns the ball over at will with his woeful kicking and makes little league mistakes. Back to Sandringham until he shows something.

The man is an idiot. If I'd been in charge I would have delisted him for bringing the club into disrepute you know when.

I would play him in the forward wing role- he is mitigated for his poor kicking and does tackle and pressure well. Doesn't need heaps of goals if he can effect the trurn overs on the rebound. I think he will be back though as we have no defensive run with out Gram and Goddard in there and the loss of Dempster and Fisher add extra pressure.

Aside from hanging on to compromising photos of his team mates.
I think he is/was naive rather than an idiot.
I'd be surprised if he didn't learn a very hard lesson from that whole affair.
